Uniform
We take pride in the way we present ourselves at Leigh Primary School, and all pupils are expected to comply with our uniform requirements. Please let us know if you have any difficulties providing appropriate uniform as we are more than willing to help out.
Uniform Providers
Our provider for school uniform is School Trends but many items can be purchased from other supermarket and high street providers.

We also provide second hand school uniform through our online school portal 'Uniformd'. We believe that reusing uniform, that can be purchased from the school at a low cost, is important for all families regardless of circumstance and important for the environment and sustainability. This method of providing second hand uniform as well as new ties is new for September 2023; therefore, we thank you for your patience whilst we collect donated uniform and post online. Information about 'Uniformd' is attached below and all funds go directly to the school PTA and then directly to your children.

Winter PE Uniform

Summer PE Uniform

Please note that ALL children are expected to wear a school tie. These can purchased from the School Office for £5.00.
All pupils should wear suitable low heeled black shoes. Trainers are not considered appropriate footwear in school unless it is a PE day.
All pupils should have a suitable waterproof outdoor coat for playtimes and outdoor learning. In addition, we ask pupils to bring in a pair of wellington boots along with waterproof trousers when notified of an outdoor activity. We try to go outside in all weathers, believing that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!
Jewellery may not be worn, with the exception of a wristwatch for pupils in KS2, and one pair of plain studs for pupils with pierced ears. Pupils with earrings must be able to remove and replace these themselves for PE lessons, and for this reason, we ask that, if you wish you child to have their ears pierced, you do so at the beginning of the summer holidays to give the ears time to heal before returning to school. Staff are not able to remove or replace earrings, and we do not tape ears for PE.
Nail varnish and other make up should not be worn in school and hair should not be dyed bright colours please.
